Plato’s – An intimate restaurant
at the Aspen Meadows Resort,
home to the Aspen
Institute, is a place where guests, world leaders and locals
alike can enjoy inspiring cuisine, stimulating conversation
and spectacular views. As Plato once said, “the first and
greatest of necessities is food, which is the condition of
life and existence”. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows
and simple yet elegant Bauhaus design, Plato’s is a unique
dining venue perfect for a romantic date night or intimate
gathering, but first and foremost, it is home to exquisite
food.
Art
comes in many
forms- who says food isn’t one of them?
That’s exactly how
Executive Chef Todd Slossberg sees it too. Inspired by the
seasons, Slossberg’s passion is simple: harmonize decadent
food, noteworthy wine and awe-inspiring views into a
beautiful mélange. Contemporary, yet simplified, the menu is
classical, comfort cuisine at its finest. Sustainable in
practice, products and ingredients are sourced from local
and regional farmers, and even from Plato’s very own back
yard garden- because in the end, it's the real, fresh and simple
ingredients that dissolve together to create unforgettable dishes.
Plato's will be closing for the off-season as of April 1st,
and reopening in June for the summer season
Plato's also offers private and off-site catering. Click here for more info
